Join our 'Keep Austin Reading' 2023 challenge

Did you make a resolution to read more? Want to read outside your comfort zone but don’t know where to start? Join the Austin Public Library’s 2023 ‘Keep Austin Reading’ challenge and get rewarded for reading a different themed book each month. Participants who complete ten challenges will receive a special prize.

Monthly themes include Women’s History, Banned Books, Graphic Novels, and more. Anyone who wants to participate can stop by the Austin Public Central Library or any of our 20 branch locations (booklets aren’t available at Recycled Reads or Austin History Center locations) to collect a 2023 Reading Log. Bring your booklet back to the desk each month to collect a sticker, or create an account on beanstack.org and log your progress. Reading suggestions and curated lists made by APL staff will available on https://austinpubliclibrary.beanstack.org
